Last week I was invited by the Zomato team to join them and a couple of other foodies for a dinner meet-up at Rockets. I was pretty excited because as you all know I am a huge Zomato fan and use their platform to review any restaurant I go to.

It was really great to meet fellow foodies and exchange our veiws on various food related topics. When our food arrived, we all got out our phones and took photos - for review purposes. Usually when I do this I get a few rolling eyes from friends so it felt super to finally be surrounded by people who 'get it'.
Their cocktail menu is also pretty impressive and I had this strawberry daiquri / pina colada hybrid and it was insanely delicious!
They also have a branch in Rivonia which is just as good but has a more 'date night' type atmosphere as opposed to Parkhurst's famous social vibe.
Have a look at my review and the overall rating I gave Rockets on Zomato HERE.

It was also Lungi's birthday and the Rockets team organised her a surprise slice of what can only be described as heaven!
A huge thank-you to Zomato and Rockets for allowing this meet-up to take place and for looking after us all so well. I'm so happy to be a part of Zomato in South Africa and I look forward to meeting many more foodies through the Zomato network.
