Vin Chic

Tis the season... to be festive! And what better way to get festive than induldging in some GOOD wine!

I recently got try out a new desginer wine called Vin Chic. This wine, which is so fashionably packaged is now available from liquor outlets across South Africa. The sexy designer wine is the latest offering from TNB; the local producer of popular party staples, Kandi Cream Liqueurs, Ponchos coffee flavoured tequila, Sally Williams Finest Nougat Cream Liqueur and Carvo caramel and chocolate vodkas.

Vin Chic is packaged as a designer 'sling bag' making it specifically targeted at woman. I love this concept of taking the traditional box style of wine and making it into somehing fashionable you can take with you to a braai or dinner.

Vin Chic comes in three varieties and I was given the white wine to try. It comes from the Internationally acclaimed Robertson region and I was very happy with it's easy drinking sweet flavour.

"Alluring white is an elegant and crisp wine with hints of summer fruits on the palette.  Its alcohol volume is a lighter-than-normal 11.5%, adding to its summer allure."

"Delicate rose is a creamy wine that’s sat on red skins in oak barrels to create a fresh blush of berry undertones. Its alcohol volume is a breezy 7.5%."

"Fiery red is as voluptuous as she sounds. Her opulence is rich, smooth and full-bodied with earthy tones on the palette. She weighs in at 13.5% alcohol volume."

So there you have it, the perfectly fashionable wine you should be carrying with you this festive season! All Vin Chic designer wines come in a party-perfect two litres and are priced at R70 each.
