The Whimsical Whisk

Last week I was invited to join a lovely morning of cake tasting with Daniella (Pink Vanilla). 

The Whimsical Whisk creates the most beautiful cakes with the most divine flavours and we were all spoilt with choice on the day.

How gorgeous do they all look? Rezana is ARTIST behind these cakes and she explained on the day that she used to be a make up artist but always had a passion for baking. When back issues followed by a complicated surgery took place, Rezana found it difficult to continue the physically taxing work of being a make up artist and so she decided to follow her passion and start baking for a living.

Rezana uses only the best ingredients in her cakes and you really can taste the love and quality in each of them. Her creative side ensures that the cakes are spectacularly presented which makes them perfect for any occasion!! Check out Cheeky Pics Photography for more gorgeous images of the cakes. 

Carrot cake (Favourite of the day) 

The table which we sat at was decorated in keeping with the Whimsical Whisk name. I loved the little whisks in flower arrangements and all the little quirky table decorations - it was right up my alley!

On the refreshment side, we enjoyed 'mocktails' from Fehmz which were a lovely alcohol free treat for those of us who love our cocktails. 

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my morning and can definitely recommend The Whimsical Whisk for all your cake requirements!
